Stories are the root of my artistic identity. As a kid, I fell in love with storytelling. Like all of the troubled, misunderstood teen protagonists in the films and tv series I watched growing up, I wanted to be a writer. Eight-year-old me spent countless hours writing stories and crafting plot lines for my beloved invented characters. As time progressed and I grew in my love of cinema, my novelist dream morphed into screenwriting. The visual aspects of film that gave life to a page enamored me, and laid the foundation of what would one day be my actual career — photography.
